Statement Maker – Silver Jewellery Edit II

Hello! you beautiful people. It’s time for another jewelry edit with three of my favorite silver jewelry pieces from 2020. Shot in the monsoon of 2020 this blog is getting uploaded after a year. These were the first set of jewelry pieces that were ordered online and I absolutely fell in love with them.

As you know statement-makers are all you need to accentuate your basic look. This time I have used a single piece of traditional silver jewelry with a western outfit to take it a notch higher.

Firstly, I have styled a long printed summer dress with big-sized studded earrings. Having similar tones and shades in the outfit as your jewelry makes it a perfect pick. This is a minimalistic yet elegant look where, both the dress and earrings complement each other.

The next look comprises silver enameled lapis fish floral earrings paired with easy-to-go denim on denim look. The catch in this look is the dominant blue color that creates harmony. The balance created with the large pair of earrings with absolutely nothing in the neck draws attention to both the jewelry and the outfit equally.

This look kind of look can be worn for a semi-formal event, casual day out or brunch with your girlfriends.

Last but one of my favorite looks is pairing a classic wrap top in white with a heavy choker. This look has been quite famous and for obvious reasons. Whenever there’s a statement neckline with the most part of your neck exposed, a choker works the best.

Here, I have styled a green glass ball thread choker with classic white. I’m a huge fan of neutrals and whites, as they are easy to style, and the chances of going wrong are 0.01%. This look is an example of how statement pieces can work well when they are styled right. You can replace the denim with a lehenga/ skirt, and you can attend a wedding.

Traditional Indian jewelry is versatile. They are definitely an investment but the functionality makes it worth it. Be it occasion wear or a casual day out, when styled well they can accentuate any look.

I hope you loved the looks I created. They are easy to create and can be further experimented with. I would love to know how you would style your silver jewelry.

Happy Reading!

Love,

Rutuja
