Bright Colours for Gloomy Days

Has it been that you get up in the morning, brush your teeth, sip your favorite cup of coffee but, you don’t feel like doing anything? There’s nothing wrong; the day is just as usual, but you still feel you don’t own the day. You want to lie in bed all day and binge-watch your favorite show. Well! If you don’t, then lucky you but, if you do, then welcome to my club. I usually go through such phases. Some days I feel like I own the world, while I wish I could disappear some days. I guess that’s quite normal. Not all days are meant to be perfect, but you can turn them into one.

Dressing up good always works for me. For such days I literally stare at my wardrobe and pick up the best dress I can wear that day. Needless to what occasion it is or where I am supposed to be, I make sure I wear the prettiest dress, style it well, put on some makeup, and I’m ready to rule the world. I prefer wearing bright, pastel, or white color. For someone who loves neon, it’s the best chance to pull it on. Wearing light and bright colors instantly lightens your mood, whereas; looking good boosts your confidence. It’s somehow related to psychology, where you attract positivity by just feeling good about yourself.

Accessorise your look by wearing some interesting pair of earrings, neckpiece, rings or stacking few bracelets. Chunky jewellery is more into trend these days. You can also mix & match few pieces. Style your basics by adding a belt, knotting your tee, rolling your denim, or accessorising with a scarf. You can also add some drama by layering and experimenting with silhouettes. Statement sleeves, flattering necklines, interesting collars, and hemlines can do it. Just make sure you don’t go over the top. Rest assured, always believe in yourself. Just smile; it’s going to be fine, and you’ll rock your day as usual.

  1. I was wondering curious if you ever considered thought of changing the layout page layout structure of your blogsite website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You’ve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
